In the book " Miss Peregrines home for peculiar children" Jacob finds out out a great secret about his granddad The secrets lead him to a home of children with great "powers" that his granddad was apart of. Now he realizes that a lot of his life was a lie. Monsters are following him around all his life without him knowing. Now they are trying to kill him; they killed hid granddad. He can protect the peculiars or stay with his family and possibly be killed. The head of the home offers him to stay since, he is a peculiar his self. He has a choice to saty or to go. He wants to leave because he can't leave his family but he doesn't want to leave the peculiars because in a sense they are his family. He thinks he wnats to go more than to stay with them.
I think he wants to stay maybe but all this is over whelming him. Knowing about the whole granddad and peculiar ophanage home confused him. He wants to stay with them but hes worried about how his life can change and he might never be normal again.
